What is Pinsa (and how is it different from Pizza)?
Pinsa is a modern take on an ancient Roman recipe – lighter, crispy and easier to digest than classic pizza.
- Ingredients: Pinsa uses a different blend of wheat, for a lighter base.
- Texture & Shape: Oval or rectangular, highly hydrated dough, that’s crisp outside and soft and airy inside.
- Fermentation: Long, cold fermentation (from 24 up to 72 hours) for better digestibility.
- Lighter by design: Typically made without added sugar and often without animal fats.
Perfect for office catering, team lunches and private events in the CBD.
